TOUR-TRAVEL PACKAGE BOOKING FORM
With your signature on the Tour Booking Form you accept these terms and conditions as a binding contract between the Croactiva and you,the participant.Croactiva cannot accept any tour-travel package participant without a fully signed Tour Booking Form. Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully.
RESERVATION AND DEPOSIT
Participants mast be at least 18 years of age,with exceptions of teenagers accompanied by a responsible adult or custom family tours.To reserve space, a deposit of $400 per person is required. Payments might be made using check or depositing directly into Croactiva account.The balance is due 60 days before the tour-travel package starts. If the total balance is not received 60 days before tour start, Croactiva reserves right to treat this reservation as cancelled and charge the cancellation fee.
A limited number of single rooms and suites are available at extra cost, but availability cannot be guaranteed. Our tours are designed and priced with the assumption of double occupancy of double rooms. We will do our best to provide double rooms for the single use for anyone paying the single supplement. Croactiva will also be happy to match clients as roommates, but cannot guarantee availability of roommate.
WHAT’S INCLUDED ON YOUR TOUR
ACCOMODATION -hotels or condominiums 3-4 star rating, unless stated differently in a tour description. Sometimes we’ll accept lower standards if the place we are visiting is well worth it and doesn’t offer a choice. Hotel rooms are double occupancy – single rooms upon availability at an additional cost. If you don’t mind sharing the room we will do our best to find a compatible guest to avoid extra charge.
BREAKFAST – you’ll receive breakfast every morning, followed by daily agenda briefing by the tour leader. Breakfast vary from country to country. In US it’s full American breakfast, in Europe mostly buffet style.
DINNER – Dinners are included for the most days of your stay, some evenings are left free for your own exploration of local cuisine and culture. Vegetarian meals can be obtained in most of the hotels. Beverages and alcohol drinks are not included.
GUIDES – One of our experienced guides, who’ll be there for you not just during daily routs but during entire trip, as tour concierge, trying to alleviate any issue that arises and make your vacation relaxing and mind free.
SUPPORT VEHICLE - comfortable ten passengers vans and trailers with all necessary equipment and daily supplements.
ENTRANCE FEES – for all trips and special events scheduled in the tour itinerary.
BICYCLE GEAR – quality hybrid bicycles, helmets if you don’t have your own , water bottles, emergency tire repair kits.
WHAT’S NOT INCLUDED
AIRFARE – is not included in the tour price, nor is the travel insurance of any type.
ALL ITEMS – not mentioned as included and all items of personal nature, tips, porters, phone calls, any meal that is not prepaid or part of the tour- travel package, items not on regular menus, beverages, wine and liquor, vehicles for sightseeing not included in itinerary.
GUIDE TIPS – are left to your discretion – any tip is always appreciated by your guides.
ADDITIONAL EXPENSES – arising from delay or extension of transportation or other causes beyond our reasonable control during the conducting of a tour.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
If you need to cancel your tour before departure, the following fees shell apply at the time we receive your written cancellation notice :
More than 60 days before departure : $100.00
From 60 to 31 days before departure : $400.00
From 30 to 21 days before departure : 50% of tour price
Less than 21 days before departure : 100% of tour price
PRE AND POST TOUR
We highly recommend that you arrive at least one or two days prior to your tour date in order to acclimate to any time differences, thus being prepared to fully enjoy your tour. For your convenience we are able to make reservations at recommended hotels before or after your tour.
ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES
Upon sign -up, guests will receive a detailed information about when and where there tour convenes and how to arrange transportation to the meeting point. Tours begin and end at the designated time and place, usually at a hotel lobby where one of us will meet you – in a case of late arrival you’ll be responsible for transportation to designated beginning location.
MINIMUM TOUR PARTICIPANTS
Up to 30 days prior to tour start Croactiva can cancel the tour if an insufficient number of participants have booked and fully paid for the tour by that time.
TOUR CANCELLATION BY CROACTIVA
We reserve right to cancel any tour due to acts of nature or any other occurrence out of our control. We must reserve right to cancel any tour prior to departure for any reason. If cancellation is due to insufficient number of participants, Croactiva will offer to run the tour if all customers agree to a supplemental charge due to low number of tour participants.If customers don’t agree to pay the supplement, Croactiva will refund they payment in full, which will constitute full settlement. Croactiva is not liable for any additional costs or losses incurred, due to Croactiva cancellation of the tour, caused by insufficient number of participants. This includes, but is not limited to, the cost of prepaid airline tickets, hotel reservations and car rentals. Situations my arise which, in our opinion, make it necessary for us to cancel, advance or postpone a scheduled tour, change itineraries, or make substitutions regarding hotels, sites, tour guides and other travel arrangements. In that event we don’t assume responsibility or liability for any resulting losses, expenses or inconvenience. Croactiva is not required to make refunds once the tour commences, regardless of the reason for the participant not to complete hers or his tour.
CHANGING OF TOUR OR DEPARTURE DATE
If you decide to change either your tour or departure date after initial reservation, the same transfer fees as outlined under ” Cancellations and refunds ” shall apply.
REFUNDS FOR SERVICES NOT USED
Our tours are sold as a package. Credit cannot be given for services not used by a client. This includes accommodations, meals, or any other arrangements not used or performed for any reason, including acts of God.
TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation insurance. We are not able to vary from our stated refund policy regardless of your situation. Trip cancellation insurance will protect all deposits and payments for air and land costs if you are required to cancel your tour due to personal or family illness.
We recommend all clients to carry medical and personal insurance to cover hospital and other medical expenses and loss of baggage and other personal belongings. If you are involved in our Colorado Fourteeners tour, then emergency evacuation insurance may be required.
As a client, you have specific responsibilities to Croactiva and to other tour members, which include : International travel requires passport which you must bring with you. Guests from the outside the countries they would like to visit, must contact the nearest consulate for visa requirements. Selecting a tour appropriate to your interests and abilities and being in sufficient health to partake in the trip activities. Bringing appropriate clothing as recommended. Preparing for your tour by reading and understanding pre-tour information provided. Acting in an appropriate and respectful manner in accordance with customs and laws of countries and regions visited.
By sending us deposit, you certify that you don’t have any physical condition or disability that would create a hazard for you or other tour participants. Croactiva reserves the right to decline accepting or retaining clients whose health or actions impede the operation of the trip or the welfare or enjoyment of fellow travelers. Your information package will cover basic requirements, but we recommend that you consult your doctor prior to departure.
CROACTIVA RESERVES RIGHT TO
Accept, retain or decline any tour member at any time and for any reason. In such a case, a refund equal to the actual cost of the unused services is the limit of Croactiva responsibility. YOUR SIGNITURE on our Tour Booking Form represents your acceptance of the following TERMS AND CONDITIONS :
Croactiva, its employees and agents, give notice that all services and arrangements for transportation, accommodation and all other services and arrangements related to this tour have been made by Croactiva only as an agent upon the express condition that Croactiva shell not be liable and does not assume responsibility for any claims, demages, expenses or other financial loss whether to person or property arising out of any injury, accident, death, cancellation, delay, alteration or inconvenience resulting from any act of omission, commission or inadvertence of any hotel, carrier, restaurant or other company or person rendering any of the services included in the tour or caused by weather, sickness, strikes, quarantines or the willful or negligent acts of any other tour members or any other cause whatsoever beyond the control of Croactiva. The right is reserved to alter the tour itinerary or hotel arrangements as needed to improve the quality of the trip or to accommodate the comfort and well being of the guest. Croactiva is not responsible for any expenses (hotel cost, transport, meals ect.) not specified in the tour cost, but my be needed for a guest to get to or from a tour start or end. Croactiva reserves right to take photographs or film records for any of its trips for possible promotional or commercial use.
STATEMENT OF RISKS
The risks and dangers inherent in bicycle, walking and hiking touring, climbing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, skiing, sailing and any other activity offered as part of Croactiva tours, include but are not limited to : vehicle traffic, weather conditions, illness or accident caused by stress, fatigue or consumption of alcoholic beverages, secondary transportation by airplane, helicopter, bus, car, van, taxi, boat or other conveyance. Croactiva is not liable for any bodily injury or property damage or loss arising out of (but not limited to) these risks and dangers.
