International travel requires a valid passport and in some cases a visa. Please contact the appropriate consulate nearest you.
We don’t cover medical insurance.We recommend you to carry a health and personal insurance in a case of hospitalization and other medical expenses and loss of luggage and personal belongings. Clients involved in “Colorado 14 ers” tour might be required emergency evacuation insurance as well. We are not able to deviate from our cancellation and refund policy in respect of your personal situation. We strongly recommend a Trip Cancellation Insurance – it will cover all deposits and transportation costs in a case you are required to cancel your trip due to personal or family illness.
Each of our tours offers different activities and requires certain level of fitness. Even though our tours are fully supported with possibility of altering our routs to accommodate your preferred pace and distance,you’ll have the best time if you choose the tour right for you.
FITNESS RATING INFORMATION
Fitness rating is a general guideline designed to help you choose the appropriate tour. All of our tours are differently rated – from easy to moderate to advanced.
Walking and Hiking
Easy: Mostly flat terrain, Distance / 3- 6 miles a day
Moderate: Varied terrain with some climbs and descents, Distance / 6-8 miles a day
Advanced: Varied Terrain with climbs and descents mainly, Distance / 8-12 miles a day
Easy: mostly flat terrain, Distance / 20- 30 miles a day
Moderate: Varied terrain with some hills, short climbs and descents, Distance / 20-40 miles a day
Advanced: Varied Terrain with climbs and descents mainly, Distance /30-50 miles a day

Here is a list of the selected items you might find helpful in planning and packing for your trip:
Essentials – sunglasses, sunscreen, toiletry, towel, address book, electrical converters and adapters, back pack or fanny pack – easy way to carry your daily supplements, cameras, documents . . .
Personal items- things that you absolutely need and might have a difficulty finding in a foreign country.
Camera, memory cards, charger, notebook…
Luggage – easy to pack and unpack, back packs or soft carry bags work the best. Make sure to identify your luggage inside and outside with your name, address and telephone number.
Clothing – comfortable casual pants, hiking shorts, swim suit, sweat shirt (sweater) or fleece for cold weather, sun / rain protection hat, rain jacket and pants, comfortable walking shoes, casual evening wear.
Walking and Hiking Specific (Roll-over item description for image.)
- Hiking Boots (low cut or tennis shoes not acceptable)
- 4 pairs of light wool socks
- Casual shoes and regular socks when not hiking
- Wool hat and Head lamp with fresh batteries
- Back pack for your daily supplements
- Trekking poles
- Water bladder and water bottle (Croactiva provides one water bottle)
Biking Specific (Roll-over item description for image.)
- Biking helmet (mandatory, can be rented)
- Biking shoes (with click-in cleats if you bring your own pedals) or decent pair of sport shoes
- T-shirts or bicycle jerseys (bright colors and light weight / include some with long sleaves in a case of cold weather or excess sun days)
- Wind stopper, water resistant light weight jacket
- Biking shorts (a couple of pairs )
- Biking gloves
- Biking socks
Hotels or Condominiums 3-4 star rating, unless stated differently in a tour description Sometimes we’ll accept lower standards if the place we are visiting is well worth it and doesn’t offer a choice. Hotel rooms – Double occupancy, single rooms upon availability at an additional cost. If you don’t mind sharing a room we will do our best to find a compatible guest to avoid extra charge.
You’ll receive breakfast every morning, followed by daily agenda briefing by the tour leader. Breakfast vary from country to country. In US it’s full American breakfast, in Europe mostly buffet style.
Dinners are included for the most days of your stay, some evenings are left free for your own exploration of local cuisine and culture. Vegetarian meals can be obtained in most of the hotels. Beverages and alcohol drinks are not included.
One of our experienced guides, who’ll be there for you not just during daily routs but during entire trip, as a tour concierge, trying to alleviate any issue that arises and make your vacation relaxing and mind free.
